2001 — I pursued higher education in design and development but left early to launch my first company, a multimedia studio offering audio recording, videography, and e-commerce. This venture led to a brief period in the music industry.
2005 — I co-founded a creative agency, Gauged2, where I also trained other much larger agencies in how to stay current and dominate this growingly-connected world, covering viral advertising, digital design, mobile apps, integrated campaigns, and coding practices. Our team, though small, became well-known as a digital-hybrid agency, producing high-end creative when agencies couldn't do it themselves.
2015 — As the advertising world evolved, my co-founder and I formed our own specialized consultancies. I chose to focus on the production side (branding, design, websites, app development, UX), and he went back to video production. This is how HB/CO was born.
2024 — As of today, I specialize in three key areas: brand strategy (positioning, messaging, StoryBrand), digital marketing (social media, PPC), and production (branding, website, apps, user experience, etc).
